Don't be a total "Dumas" and believe the in-store Sales-Hole hyping these over-priced, do nothing extra cables. use the money you save to buy some nice Blu-Ray movies instead. You'll be glad you did. It's common knowledge by those in-the-know, that measureable lab tests using an oscilloscope show ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE in signal, picture or audio quality between these cables and the ten buck or less generic brand cables on Amazon.com, [.]. EVER. These shameless in-store thieves know that you'll be spending some serious coin on your new flat-panel, so whats another hundred+ for some bogus cable if you think you'll be getting a better picture.
Bob-OH. Please. Please. I have tried several brands of HDMI cables, doing brand-blind tests and could never see or hear any difference of any kind.
Furthermore, if the cable really made that much of a difference, don't you think that the Manufacturer would either include the cable in the box or mention that in the set-up instructions. So, either it works or doesn't work at all - there is NO middle ground. I hope this clears up any myths regarding so called "high end" cables. OUT.
Humor me; and try it yourself. etc. Don't believe me. Please.
Don't be a total "Dumas" and fall for the BS. Keep in mind that all this cable has to do is transfer data only; (not high power, like a loud speaker) so any reasonably good conductor would work just fine just to transmit a data signal. NOT. This was both professionally measured as well as being demonstrated by an engineer on a recent expose' on FOX13 News in Tampa, FL.
Unfortunately the original packaging was discarded and vendor charged me a 10% restocking fee. After three days I discovered the item was defective.
For example if the output is 12 bit color and the display supports 12 bit color a cable rated 8 bit is not going to matter it will have no choice but to transfer 12 bit. Pros: Sturdy and insulated, delivers the most consistent image/video quality.Cons: Pricey in the extreme and the company makes up the specs. An HDMI cable is an HDMI cable, save your money. Transfer rate would only matter on a cable longer than 20 feet and video streaming HD at thrice the density of Blu-ray, 6 feet and it matter's not. Or rather the specifications are accurate but they mean even less than nothing to Video quality.Never buy an HDMI cable that is not on sale. Nearly all of the information in the product description is made up.
These cables work just as well as the Best Buy cables which cost 15 times as much.
Do yourself a favor and save yourself a lot of money, a $20 HDMI cable works the same as this so called High Speed HDMI cable that Monster claims, don't be fooled by the name and make a smart choice. First of all i want to clarify that all HDMI cable works the same. There is no superior product out there that is better than the rest of them.
